Curbing
What is custom curbing? Curbing is custom stamped concrete formed in any shape and style that you desire. We begin with mixing the cement into concrete. During the mixing process we can add any color to the concrete known as the base color. We then shovel the concrete into our machine which forms the concrete into curb. Next, we apply several different release colors of your choosing. Once dried and cured you will then have the landscape edging of your dreams. Take a look at the video below to see how we design our custom landscape borders.
Decorative Curbing Base Colors
The first step to choosing your custom curb is by picking out your base color. Base color is the dye that is mixed in with the concrete. This changes the concrete color from the natural color of concrete that you see on driveways and sidewalks. When looking at the color chart above you will see that every three colors are the same color. To achieve the color that you desire we can add more or less color to achieve the exact look that you desire. If you don't see the color that you want in our chart above we can work with our distributors to find a color that best matches your preference.
Decorateve Concrete Edging Release Colors
The next step to choosing your decorative custom curbing is by selecting your antique release powder colors. Typically, our natural stone curbing as a maximum of three colors. Black, also known as charcoal is used in the lines which gives the impression of space in between each individual blocks. Our stamps give the impression that there are multiple stones next to each other. However, decorative landscape curbing is not multiple stones but it is one continuous piece of concrete that is extruded through specialized equipment. The other two colors that you can choose from will be custom to how you want your curb to look.
